Yardbird and Liam...........Please guys, keep it going. I'm still laughing! Never considered the DF issue or the booze connection. Hummmmmmmm.
Here we go again.
Elegant solutions to non problems not unlike the latest question about drying a hose without ever asking if it should be dried.
Now comes the question of adding smelly feel good things to a humidifier with out first asking i it is helpful.
I remember long articles about this that concluded that vicks vatranol and eucalyptus was good for a feel good moment and the sensation and conclusion that "it works great for me"
My humble opinion is that it is WORTHLESS as a therapeutic agent, but I am sure there may be a cacophony of testimonials that it cures everything imaginable.
Oh, the power of self suggestion and how we love to deceive ourselves.
