Well sir...I am far from ignorant. Just because I don't agree with your thoughts doesn't make me ignorant.
No need to get nasty here.
I don't care what you do with your money, your machine or your life for that matter.
All I did was clear up some potential confusion about "your germs" which you apparently didn't understand what people mean when they talk about "your germs".
And ask you a simple question as to why you bothered to come here and your only posts are to defend the So Clean system..
Seems a bit odd to me. Wouldn't be the first time So Clean has sent a shill here.
And I never said I liked the film in the reservoir....I don't get it but some people do. If I did then I would just wash the water chamber every couple of weeks or so. Being perfect has nothing to do with it. I don't wash my water chamber very often and I still don't get the film. It just doesn't come and set up shop in my water chamber. I got lucky.
Using the So Clean doesn't mean that the facial oils, grime, snot, slobber gets removed from the equipment. You still have to manually wash it.
Using the So Clean just means (assuming it actually kills anything which is unlikely) you have sort of sterile dirt, facial oils, grime, snot, slobber on your equipment. Maybe you are okay with that but I am not.
Dennis03 wrote: If you like that film, good for you. Yeah, you don't have that film. You're perfect. Do some research and you will find that I - and you - are not alone in the film thing.
And thank you very much but I long ago researched this product quite extensively and decided if it wasn't going to wash my stuff for me then I didn't want it....and we have a forum member who works in the field who did his own write up about his own personal research and his field of work and he returned his So Clean within the 30 days because it didn't/couldn't do what it says it does. There are a lot of holes in the So Clean claim and if you don't care about those holes...I really don't care that you don't care about those holes. It's your money (or wife's) and your equipment and your life but when people come here and ask our thoughts...they will get our thoughts. You don't like those thoughts...well tough. We get to express those thoughts just like you get to express yours.
BTW....that film and the bacteria that causes it...it's everywhere in your house. It's very common.
So I know Dennis won't bother to read this or listen to what is said but for others wondering about So Clean you might read this thread and especially the stuff that flightco wrote.

I will give you some facts, and I base the facts on the fact that I am the one who works in the industry of low temperature sterilzation
1. So Clean claims they use the same technology as is used in hospitals. LIE - the hospital ozone sterilizers cost upwards of 100,000.00 and require an O2 farm (a room with 15 to 20 tall O2 cylinders) to provide pure oxygen to extract the ozone. Besides the fact that SoClean lied about this, why on earth do you think a 300.00 device can even come close to what a 100,000.00 device can do. If SoClean was validated to sterilize or even high level disinfect, hospitals would have hundreds of them rather than the 100K devices. The SoClean just does not have the power to do what you think it does.
2. It does not clean. Period. You think it does, place a small dab of peanut butter in your hose and see if it is still there when the cycle is complete. You think this is not a good test, it is the basis of the VA soil test, the test that all medical cleaners must pass or they cannot claim to clean.
3. Amazon reviews - nothing but feel good stories. I have not read one Amazon review that can factually claim that the SoClean kills germs. If you know of one, please post the link because I would like to read it. What is the basis of a 5 star review when all they can go on is they like it? Meaningless.
4. I did own a SoClean on the 30 day trial, when I realized what it was vs. the claims they make I returned it under the 30 day return policy. Why not just get one of the room ozone fans and hang your mask in front of it, they would both do the same thing which is nothing.
I am just repeating the same thing I have typed here about a hundred times; for now on I will just say it is awesome, give the scammers your money, you will love it.
Those of you who have the So Clean and love it....I am happy that you are happy with the product and what you spent the big bucks for.
I have a good friend who has one and loves it and I am happy for him. I never once gave him any grief over his purchase. He never asked my opinion either. It's his life and his money.
I just don't want to spend $300 on something and STILL have to manually wash the snot, slobber, grime, dirt, whatever off my mask. I have better things to do with my money.
And finally when someone comes here and the ONLY posts they make here is to pick a fight about how good the So Clean is and how ignorant we are because we just don't get it and get snotty and nasty and hateful. Doesn't say much about person when they have to attack the person giving them the message they don't like instead of actually doing an attempt at a factual rebuttal. Just saying...I would have maybe listened to Dennis if he hadn't got so personal and snotty at me and instead offered some real facts instead of what he thinks.
