This thread won't get rid of kellyl. or any other spammer. Only admin can do that once it has been reported to them. And admin will have to go to great lengths and expense to stop them altogether. It's a waste of time to delete their posts... they just keep coming. Certainly don't call attention to a spammer -- that's just what they are looking for.

It was a spam bot. Likely the human offender (that got the forum ID) just set up a bot and every so often it posted the garbage while the offender went off and did other things.
A human didn't sit there and post a new thread about every minute and most likely never saw ChunkyFrog's message. It was set up originally by a human though and there was a pause in new posts right before 7 AM this morning. I then noticed that the content (as I was hitting the spam button) had changed somewhat...so essentially the human changed the text and then most likely went off to do something else and let the bot do the rest.

So your answer is to ignore the spam posts, and allow them to fill page after page of spam, until the owners mass delete it and take the spam offender out. Maybe we could just shut down the web site, when it rains too.
What the Spammers want, is to find sites that are easy to break into for a playground, they found us. It's just a game of cat and mouse, and we need Decon and traps, or at least some really mean and hungry ally cats. Jim

It is more fun to play whack a mole with these ninnies. A stress reliever at the very least.
If the forum becomes unusable for its intended purpose, the perpetrator(s) may be guilty of denial of services.
If no authorities can handle them, maybe somebody knows some black ops guys who can break some fingers . . .
Or something . . .
