Not a real word. That's an example of where he is disseminating inaccurate information.

I have a hard enough time with the horrible grammar, horrible spelling and just overall HORRIBLE writing that is so prevalent today. But using made-up words like they are real words? Yuck.
I have known this word for ~5 years. There are many words used in the vernacular, not in the dictionary. Some I know, most I don't.

From my past experiences, anyone who has to constantly remind people how smart they are, normally aren't.

No doubt dismissed for cause.

It's just so sad when someone seemingly so smart has personality issues and can't figure out how to fit in and not be universally disliked.

He knows it is true in his heart of hearts, too.

I pity him (and his need for self validation through the only attention -negative- he is able to garner) as much as anything else.

Sorry xxyzx.

Very true. I may have inadvertently implied, but did not mean to say that HE made up the word. It's obvious he didn't because I CAN look up the word (and others) and find out their meaning. But being part of urban slang, while known by many, still doesn't make them real words.

Remember the old saying, when we were children? "You ain't allowed to say "ain't" because "ain't" ain't in the dictionary?"

Well, "ain't" IS in the dictionary (now). Will words like "libtard" find themselves to dictionaries? I don't know but I hope not. If words like that end up in the dictionary, I will lose all faith in humanity (more than I already have!!).

Madalot: yes, but Seinfeld made up some new/great words. Re-gifter and anti-dentite were a few of them.

Can't argue you with you there. The truth, reality and logic of it cannot be denied. And therein lies the difference between someone like me and someone like him. I'm not overly impressed with myself, my opinions and such as to never consider another viewpoint.

I still hate the word "libtard" though and will never implement it as part of my regular vocabulary!

Not to mention it's a derogatory term meant to degrade people of a certain political idea and really serves no purpose but to demean them.

I didn't join this forum to have political discussions or to call people names. Can we please get back to what's important, our therapy? Thanks.

Not to mention this entire thread serves only to demean one person. Then of course comes the piling on, how nice.

That person demeans themselves and most others here... you haven't done your homework.

But what Johnny's thought imply is that there is no verbal behavior that is unacceptable. It's his dime, so we play by his rules. But in my mind, ther is a point where certain behaviors are unacceptable, and name calling and demeaning others for the mere offense of disagreeing with one's own point of view is getting close to or beyond what is acceptable public behavior. But that's only me, and apparently quite a few of the regular posters also.

How is what this thread about any different than what you are talking about? Don't forget you a new here too and they will turn on you at any time.

But as to your interpretation - I suggest you consult the author to get a clear understanding of his intention and meaning.

==========
all logical fallacies
my posts prove i should be taken seriously as they are all correct
the notion that someone is correct until he is shown to be wrong is a fallacy in and of itself.
