Opus Fan
I have seen the new opus it is absolutely phenomanel....simple, light, seals beautiful. I look forward to it being available! It is worth the wait.... should be available in canada in a few weeks.
Do you know how much you sound like a used car salesperson? If you are a sales person for the Opus you need a new approach. Adjectives won't take the place of facts on this forum.

The opus fan is a drive by jerking gullible chains for his own entertainment.

I spoke today with the F&P rep. Opus should ship next week here in Canada. I did not ask about availability in the US.

I also found out that F&P is working on an apap which is scheduled to be trialed in a couple of sleep labs here in Toronto in January. I was not able to get any details about the apap; I've asked about being part of trialing the new device if possible.

ok I'll bite..is this a full face mask, nasal, hybrid or what?? - if the F&P rep told you that it would be shipping that soon I'll assume you asked him some questions - so give a little more info...otherwise I'll just assume you're just full of opus........

Well, as I stated in the post that started this thread, it is a nasal mask. The rep. told me that it is a very small mask with minimal headgear. That's all I know.

Hopefully, I'll have my hands on one next week (wishful thinking, I'm sure) and will post an opinion. Also, I'll beg a favour of the ever-popular Rested Gal to assist me with posting some photos.

I like it!

Looks like an adam circuit with a swift headgear and an F&P CO2 exhuast system ... cool!

I have a feeling it is going to kill the current nasal pillow interfaces on the market right now.

I got a call late on Friday telling me that the Opus is in, ready for me to pick it up on Monday morning. So, I'll be trying it Monday night and will post some first thoughts on Tuesday.

Try to imagine how much I want this mask to be "the one."

Try to imagine, as a newbie, how I want this mask to be the "the only one".

I plan to try several if for nothing else than to convince myself I've got the right one.

How does it differ to the Infinity?

I can't wait to see how you like it. It does look comfortable and stable

Picked up the Opus today and tried it out at a pressure of 14 in the supplier's office. It is exceptionally light and comfortable. The headgear and nasal pillows are like Swift but the part holding the pillows is like Infinity.
Tube can go over your head (attached at top of headgear with a velcro strap) or up either side (again attached with velcro strap) like Swift. It can also hang down the front if you wish.
Comes with 3 sizes of pillows (S-M-L) that pop on and off easily.
Exhaust is a group of small holes like Infinity -no jet blast like Breeze.

This thing is minimal, minimal, minimal. I'll take some photos and ask Rested Gal to kindly post them with a link.
