And no on thinks this whole thread is Spam?
Or have ALL the "regulars" lost their buttons doing censorship?

Will you please point us out to the data where they state its a class one device in Canada and Europe..... and anyone affiliated with this company does NOT count as accurate data, that would be advertising hype, not reality
A quick search on the FDA website yielded this: https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/ ... lid=210672

Classified as a Class 2 device for snoring. No mention of Apnea.

Unfortunately, by the time I saw it, Arlene had already locked the thread by answering.
Otherwise, I definitely WOULD have zapped Jane's spam.
Sometimes it is fun to join the hilarity of beating down the spammer.
I have a lot of ANGER left over from this weekend.

That does not answer my query at all, Jane stated that it is listed as a class 1 device in Canada and Europe for treatment of mild to moderate sleep apnea. The FDA as you state is classified as a class 2 device for snoring.
Enquiring minds want to know what is reality and and what is advertising in her statement.
Nan.

Obviously it is NOT.
Failure or refusal to provide a reference fairly well confirms the lie.

Are we going to start playing "Whack-a-spammer" instead of "Whack-a-mole"?

WOW, get burned a lot or what? Ya'll are a bunch of jerks. I'm struggling terribly with sleep apnea, migraines and headaches, and I can barely hold down a job right now. My husband has been horrific to me over the last several years, saying, I'm acting sick, then I come on here for support and you say I'm spamming! Have you even bothered to read my previous posts from a month or two ago where I've talked about my CPAP struggles? I'm excited about a product that has helped me some in the past two days, but if you had read what I wrote, you also would have saw that I still physically feel terrible. I am HOPEFUL that this will work.

Can I quote you where it's Classified as Class I treatment in Canada? Hell no, it's just what I've read on a bunch of sites. Ya'll are a bunch of loonies, I'm surprised anyone is even still on this forum with the way you treat people. Oh yeah, and one more thing, I realized I typed the name wrong for the product when I posted this the first time, it's the "Good Morning Snore Solution" not the "Good Morning Sleep Solution." If I was trying to sell something, wouldn't I know how to spell the freakin' name of my products? Bunch of moronic bullies is what you are.

Jane,

As a forum regular who has been horrified at the bullying that has taken place on this forum in the past, I apologize for not coming to your defense yesterday. If anyone who accused you of spamming had bothered to read your previous posts about your struggles with pap therapy, they would have understood that you were desperate and hoping beyond hope that you had found your solution with this cheap dental device. A spammer wouldn't have written the posts that you did. Then again, I am stupidly asking bullies to be reasonable.

Hi Jane,

I too was desperate when I was considering buying this device. I was newly diagnosed, feeling very down, and was horribly sleep deprived. Those were not good times, and so when I saw your question about this product it all flooded back to me, and I remembered just how bad things can be when a person is struggling to find almost any solution. I never saw you as a spammer, just as being vulnerable and needing advice. (I have read all your posts here)

I hope that you can get whatever ails you treated, because it is very clear that things are not going well for you at present.

I wish you all the best.

Arlene,

I felt your posts were very helpful to Jane as an FYi and I hope I didn't infer otherwise.

49er, thanks.

I'm pleased that you came to Jane's defense because it's so obvious that she's not spamming but is in a very difficult situation, emotionally and physically. The makers of these ridiculous devices prey on people like this, and that makes me furious.

Quackery sucks in its victims and turns them into supporters.
Sorry you got pulled in by these charlatans, but you share the blame
if others are harmed through your misguided support of their fakery.
People come here for HELP, and helping these evil companies is
not helping people who NEED real, effective therapy.
So happy you feel good about your choices.
Please try to avoid spreading false hope and dangerous chicanery.

Actually, I wouldn't classify this product as a fake. As a tongue retaining device, it can actually work for some people that experience that form of apnea. When the base of the tongue relaxes during sleep and slides down blocking off the airway and causing snore events.

Unfortunately, depending on the anatomy of your tongue base it may or may not help. It helped my wife but not me with snoring.

Also, there are a few different ways an apnea can happen and not just because the base of the tongue slides down. So I look at this product as a tool for someone that snores but does not have sleep apnea. Though many that snore, do. So it can give false hope to some.

When I did my research on this product it seemed like it was well thought out and invented by a dentist in Alberta. I think it may help some people but definitely not all. At least they are a BBB accredited business and they do have a money back guarantee of 90 days. From what I have gathered, people have not had too much trouble getting their money back either. Which is why they have a good rating with the BBB in the USA and Canada. It's designed in Canada and manufactured in the USA too. So not what I would call a quack product. Just not a "one size fits all" kind of thing.

There is no question the OP had good intentions with this device and was sincere in their questions. It's really too bad their integrity was questioned.

Thank you 49er, I appreciate the support. You're right, I am desperate for a solution! My health is terrible and it's negatively impacting every area of my life. I did find some use in the GMSS though. It was hurting my tongue quite a bit, and I was concerned that I couldn't tell what my AHI was either. I realized though that when using it I couldn't mouth breath, so I switched my full, quite uncomfortable Quattro mask to a DreamWear. I slept with it AND the GMSS last night and I did waaaaay better then I have on any mask up until now. I had tried the DreamWear a while ago and loved it because it's so comfortable, but the mouth breathing made it a no go. I only spent part of the night wearing the GMSS last night (leaving my tongue out of the bubble as it hurts, and I know longer needed since I was wearing the mask) because I'm trying to train myself to keep my lips together when sleeping. I don't feel good today, but better then usual so I'll take it, and hope to continue making progress. My AHI was 0.5 which is the lowest I've had so far!!!
