420 E humidifier

Post by jacko » Thu Nov 23, 2006 3:56 am

Hi
The connector between the apap and the humidifier often leaks a small amount of air .
I haven't used my humidifier much so the connector is not worn out ,just wondering if this is a fault with the 420 and what others had maybe done about it ,or is the leak small enough not to worry about
Thanks Jacko

Have you tried to pull the connector off, give it a quarter circle turn and put it on again?

Are you sure you're using it with the deep side connected to the CPAP and the shallow side to the humidifier?

Hi Jacko
The easiest way to stop the leak is to use a tiewrap aroud the hose, this makes the hose semi permanent on the humidifier, but it does stop that irritating leak.

Thanks Guys
I will try the tiewrap around the connecter ans see how that goes.
I do have the connector around the right way ,but I will try giving it a turn and see what that does.
thanks again for the info
regards Jacko
