Oh I'm sure there are some bugs to be found I have to admit though its gone pretty smoothly. Before last Thursday I had never done SQL database stuff, never done C# programming, and never use the chart Zedgraph chart control. I'm quite happy that its come together fairly well.

well, both this and MyEncore both crash for me at startup. I think it's cause my database is on another computer.
How does this connect to the database? Does it read the Encore Pro config or something?

Current I assumes that the DB is on the local machine. If you PM or email me with a reminder I will take a look tomorrow to seeing if I can read the Encore Pro config and connect appropriately

James,

Just a public thanks for all the effort you put in to help me get the software working on my PC behind ther scenes.

I very much appreciate it & the data is very useable. MyEncore was no longer working properly so your timing has been great.

I'll send you a screen grab of the data normally shown in EncorePro from a Bipap S/T.

Cheers

DSM

I'm building EPA in C# using the .NET Framework. I hadn't used this language or the framework before 3 weeks ago but I'm pretty happy with how productive a development environment it seems to be.

Cheers, -James

Greetings everyone. I picked up my first apap machine (the REMstar auto M) today. It came with an encorepro smartcard. So my first stop was here to check out software where I was pleasantly surprised to find this thread. I'll echo everyone else's praise to James for taking on the project and sharing it with that community.

My question is; I don't currently have a smartcard reader and wondered if any reader work, or do I need to purchase the Respironics reader specifically to read the Respironics card?

Thanks!

You will need the reader and the encore pro software as well. Both are available at this board's sponsor. Also, the reader is available from a compnay I believe in Hong Kong called two factor (I think). If you do a search for that, links should come up for the Hong Kong company's site.

You can get the same reader for $24 USD at http://www.two-factor.com/shop/index.php?productID=115

You'll also need the Encore Pro software

I now have this feature implemented in a test build. PM me if you want to try it.

James,
This software is great. To be able to compare pressure to snores, AHI etc, is invaluable. I have adjusted my pressure and found that increasing the pressure has increased my leak rate and my AHI with an occasional OHI not had before. I reduced the pressure, reduced the AHI, no OHI and increased the snores.

Now I am going to play around with cflex. If you were to add anything, a comparison like you have with pressure to cflex settings would be interesting. I am currently doing a week at a time with each setting to see the results.

Thank you so much for what you have done for us.

Has anyone ever seen evidence that c-flex setting affects results? I've wondered this but never seen any evidence. I guess I would have to do a (cflex @ pressure) vs x graph because cflex vs x would be meaningless given the affects of pressure?

Is this compatible with non-M machines?
