There is no on/off button with this machine either, right? Just stop? The buttons stay blue all the time?

Don't have the M series, but my buttons stay lit too. No problem.

The buttons stay "blue" all the time. When I hook up the hose, I hit the middle button and the ramp (LH) button.....I have it set to ramp up from "4" to "6" in five minutes.

By looking at the software reports, I found that I had a lot of snores, apneas, and hypopneas at "5"....so, I made sure that I moved on up and past that pressure quickly.

I too had my initial setting at 4-20......but once I saw that I never got much over 12, I started narrowing the settings.....first from 5-16.....then from 6-14, and recently 6-12.

My average is about 7-1/2.....my 90% mark is about 10.....and I run at 12 for usually not more than 10 or 15 minutes per night.

Once you get your software, you'll see just where you need to be.

Finally, put some tube sox on your hose. If the room is cold.....the hose is cold......and the inside of the hose condenses the moisture just like the exterior of an iced tea glass.

Don't worry about the DME police.....they won't want to tangle with someone who knows what she's doing......Very quickly, you'll end up knowing more about the subject than they do.....

Now I'm all mixed up...my 90% was 7, so I thought that meant that is where I spent most of my night at, which would make your average 10 based on your 90%, right? and not 7.5...lol I analyze way too much!

I am going to have a friend make me a fleece cover. Anyone already know the measurements? I know the tubing is 6 ft long, but what about the circumference?

The hose is 2 7/8" dia. But the rubber connector is 4"and the cover has to fit over it. I cut my fabric 5 1/2" then sewed it up with a 1/4" seam. This left plenty of room to actually get it on the hose. Putting a plastic bag on the end of the hose helps it slide in a little easier.

Here are some of my numbers:

Setting of 5-12

Pressure set at........5.......6......7......8......9

As you can see (I hope it makes sense) even though my 90% was 5.9, most of my time was spent at a pressure of 5. I was titrated at 7 but only spent 3 mins at 7 the whole night. Over many nights it varies but most of my time every night I am at 5. That's one of the great things about Auto--you don't have to spend much time at the higher pressures. And for those of us who have problems with aerophagia ,etc. it is a great help.

Your 90% means that for 90% of the night you did not go over 7. You may have been lower for most of that time. You were higher than 7 only 10% of the night.
