mine was 2.5 time the price of just buying it so even with only a 50% co-pay it was better to just buy it from cpap.com
my 50% copay was gonna be around $2000. (and that was for a bad machine)
my just buying it outright was $950
might be better with a 20% copay cant hurt to ask
I simply cannot possibly even imagine the wildest case where a 50% copay was $2000.00. Especially when the purchase price was $950.00.

The only thing that even remotely approaches that (a $4000.00 insurance payment and a $2000.00 copay for a total of $6000.00) is a BiPaP ST which would total $3731.85 over the lifetime of the rental. This would be the 100% total of all rental payments. The 20% would be $746.37 and the insurance portion would be $2985.48. Most importantly, this also covers any and all supplies during the entire lifetime of the machine along with any and all service/changes/maitenance.

thats apria for you.
thats why i made them print me a price sheet, they where kinda fuzzy on the price. told me "I HAD TO USE THEM" and they didn't really want to give me a price.
they wanted $500 upfront (for hose and humidifier)then $95 a month for 12-14 months (until the ins decides to pay for it they told me ) then they wanted $275 for the hybrid mask .so they bill the ins for $3950 my cost $1975
and this was my 50% copay Im im really glad my doctor told me upfront they are bad. and gave me a paper with this website and others for for information on it
thats why i bought it through cpap.com
