My ResMed integrated HumidAire 2i Heated Humidifier is
wimpy. It doesn't put out enuf and I still dry out. My sleep
tech said he has heard this same complaint from other
patients. I am thinking about buying the F&P HC150 and
hooking that up, instead. Any advice?

What about the new integrated PB 420e humidifier?
Anyone have any opinions? Is it wimpy?

Yes, I know the problem is worst when my mouth falls open.
Haven't found a chin strap yet which will stop mouth leaks.
Getting ready to go the Duct tape route, but might need to
shave first. Otherwise, maybe sticking a silicon sheet between
my gums and teeth would be next. Seems easier just to buy
a different humidifier.

Yes, I am running an external humidifier in the room, and the
water does run down the wallpaper.

I have an HC150 and I think their whole big spiel about Ambient Tracking is a bunch of hogwash. I have rainout every night. If I turn it up too high, water runs out the mask on my face, if not high enough, I dry out. I took the suggestion of someone that said, turn up the room temperature. That does make a difference. It is disappointing though because I prefer to sleep in a cold room.

I am disappointed to hear that your humidifier on your machine doesn't do the trick cause I am considering that machine. My HC150 does not please me either as a seperate unit to my CPAP.

The key to using high humidity is to get the Aussie heated hose.
