I just buy my masks myself. It's cheaper that way. Go to cpap.com, they have the best prices and largest selection You won't need a prescription to buy a mask from them.

I loved the Activa mask on the conventional CPAP machine. But when my doctor switched me to Bi-Pap I found the Activia to be annoying because of the "baffeling" action that took place on the inhale and exhale.
I went back to my ResMed Ultra Mirage.
I've tried two Respironic masks and have really not liked them. They all seem to leak, at least on my face.

A prescription is not required for purchasing masks from online stores like cpap.com. The only thing that requires a prescription from that online store is the machine itself.
You know, this might not help at all, but I think I'd insist on trying the new Respironics REMstar Auto with C-Flex and heated humidifier for awhile. I'm not a doctor.
Before I endured much more of BiPap with the high set for 18, I'd at least try that specific autopap machine set for a range of 10 - 18 and with C-Flex set on "3" for the most relief on exhalation. Perhaps much of your night could be spent down at pressures much lower than 18. Worth a try.
