Have installed Encore Pro and My encore software with no problems. Installed card reader software and when I plug in the reader I can not get past the Mako DT3500 I am installing will not pass the Windows Logo test and I do not get the window to bypass this page. It tells me to contact the Administrator, well I am the Admin, so what do I need to do to get my computer to see this device. I am running XP home, and went offline to install all this so Windows One Care anti this and that wouldn't prevent installation.
Any advice will be appreciated.

It sounds like your driver signing is set too restrictive. Right click on your "My Computer" icon and go to properties. Click on the "Hardware" tab. In the middle there should be a button that says "Driver Signing". Click on it and make sure it is set to "Warn" or "Ignore".

Or, just click on the accept part of the driver signing option and continue with the installation.

running MyEncore

Got EncorePro installed, downloaded smart card and opened compliance report and printed all 14 pages of it. Now, How do I get MyEncore to work with Encore Pro? I under stood that My encore would let you see more information than basic Encore Pro does. I have tried opening MyEncore by it self, with Encorepro open and each time I get message: Error, unable to access Encorepro database.
What am I missing, I have read and reread Derek's instructions and I must be dense as I do not see procedure. Any help will again be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing you have version problems.
If you have version 1.6i of
Encore Pro, you need this version of MyEncore.
Click on the link and it will start the download.

Do you have MS .NET Framework 1.1 installed on your computer?
MyEncore has to have that version installed to work.
Version 2.0 by itself won't work (or so we've been told by Derek)

I uninstalled it and re downloaded it again and when I try to open, it gives me a box that proclaims:
Setup error
Failed to load resources from resource file. Please check your set up.
I can not find a set up file. Any ideas where to look?

OK......try this thread:

Rested Gal did a great job of compiling all of this data from various threads.
It's gotta be in there somewhere.
