Re: An apology to everyone.

Thanks, DreamStalker! You post helped me to deal with him better!
well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. yes, I've "stomped all over you" in the past when you were wrong about things you said, and I apologize for doing that. I should have simply offered correct information and left it at that, and not attacked you personally.a troll wrote:I don't think this apology will make up for all the times you have insulted me and been downright nasty to me over the years, on the forum. You always treat me in a mean, nasty manner - knowing nothing about me and my situation. You don't seem to care about what a poster might be dealing with in their lives- not always related to sleep apnea and cpap.
Of course, this apology was not to me. The only time you were ever nice to me was in a PM to me (not openly on the forum) after I expressed concern for you, after your last hospitalization.
I come to the forum often and used to post often but, because of you, I hardly ever post anymore because I know you will stomp on me. Because of other health issues I now deal with, I don't need that.
But ........ but but I don't have any foes to put on my list.chunkyfrog wrote:Many of us need to update our foe lists. Personalities clash, and we either rub one another good or bad.
I need to try harder not to engage with those who have a problem with playing nice with others . . .
As long as he keeps defaulting to that malfunctioning personality-to-attitude algorithm in his signature, I don't think he can change ... but what do I know? I'm an old school lo-tech kind'a person.Lucyhere wrote:I generally take what people say at face value. Had this been the first time you said something out of line on the forum, I would have given you the benefit of the doubt. Three-quarters of your posts ridicule anyone who dares to have an opinion other than yours. And the new people who come here asking for help and support... you apparently enjoy making them feel worse than they already do. You are condescending, intimidating, and nasty rude, and you think that type of behavior is acceptable.
You've been asked nicely to stop speaking to folks in that manner... repeatedly... including by people you seem to respect. Yet you pay no attention to anyone and continue doing what you do best. Why you think that just because you are tech savvy and understand machinery gives you the right to make others feel like crap, is a mystery.
Actions speak louder than words. If your future posts show you understand a word I'm saying, I'll be happy to accept your apology. Again, actions speak louder than words; your future posts will tell the story.
**Just saw your reply to Hawthorne... you changed her name to troll, which she is not! She's been here since 2004! You could just as easily accepted (or not) her comments, but left her name alone. Ohhh yeah - your 'actions' are already showing... and on your Apology Thread!
Sorry I jumped on you too, palerider wrote:Recently, I was having a bad day, and grossly overreacted to a post that I felt was a direct attack, saying this:

if this was the only cpap forum IN THE WORLD, then sure, make it boring pablum for everybody.
BUT IT'S NOT. find a place that fits your sensibilities, or shut up.
I'm curious. A new poster (with no history) mentions rudeness in the forum, and your knee-jerk reaction is that he was directly attacking you. Does this mean that you're well aware that you're rude and that your behavior here is below par? It certainly seems that way to me. Which begs the question - why the hell do you carry on being a prick? Does it given you a warm feeling? Pro tip - pissing your pants also gives you a warm feeling, but isn't generally socially acceptable either.palerider wrote:Recently, I was having a bad day, and grossly overreacted to a post that I felt was a direct attack, saying this:
