Amazing how much cargo we can cram into the Prius.
Prius is definitely the way to go. My wife & son will be leaving this week to drive from Virginia to Texas with 4 small dogs in a Prius v (the station wagon).
You must have the "turbo version"
Neither my 2017 nor my son's Prius v can travel that high, at least not without a ramp launch.

I emailed Resmed Australia and they told me on April 13 that "if all goes to plan the airmini should be released in Australia on May 8."
I wouldn't hold your breath though because they've been notoriously unreliable with everything to do with the release of this machine.

Sleep Review just posted a short article about the new ResMed product. Interesting features including; waterless humidification, Bluetooth interface to your Smart Phone/device, and compatible with three types of masks. No pricing mentioned.

Got an e-mail from Resmed today. Air Mini now available. Checked one retailer's site and the price is $999, and it
says it is not reimbursable by insurance. You might check with your Health Insurance company. Pretty sure Medicare
will not cover it.

New travel size machine- Resmed Air-Mini- coming soon

And they want another $119 for the mask??? And don't even include the case??? That's a $999 initial outlay!! VERY disappointed with that price point, VERY disappointed in their decision to lock users into proprietary hoses and masks. Someone needs to come up with an adapter to mate a standard hose to the blower unit.

Are you sure? It's a special version for the mini that uses the humidifier adapter. I ordered one today (will be here tomorrow for a weekend trip). I use a P10 mask and had to get the P10 for Mini mask.

I think that you still need some setup pack thing.
It's offered separately if you go to the customize and buy section of the ordering process at cpap.com.
https://www.cpap.com/customize.php?list ... 358&PAID=0
($59.00) AirFit N20 Mask Setup Pack (No Mask Included, Must Already Own an N20 Mask)
Similar item is offered for those that already have the F20.
P10 users....no such luck. apparently you have to get the whole new mask package.

spec page for the new AirMini
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... #specs-tab
and compared to the AirSense 10 spec page
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... #specs-tab
looks to be a little bit noisier which shouldn't come as a big surprise.

I can see the price dropping quickly and by a third at least, as the price point is too high, and they have locked people in using very few masks.
They seemed to have missed the fact that they can sell their standard machines for a high price because many people actually don't pay for them and get them through insurance. However, not many insurances will pay for a travel machine...
Charging for a case on such high price machine is also pushing it a bit too far.
