I've been trying to wrap my head around how your machine could be involved in the decreased tidal volume. MeWho, when you are awake and have the machine on can you take real deep breaths without feeling like your breathing is limited? And do these large breaths show as large tidal volume on your reports? If this is the case, I'm thinking that the machine is just reporting the issue and I would talk with the doctor about how you are feeling and what your reports show.

I feel exactly like I am not getting a full breath with the mask on. The revelation that the change happened during a session while I was asleep does strongly point to some sort of failure in the machine, in my opinion. I could imagine something breaking and creating a partial blockage within the device. I have examined the device to the extent possible so I might have to go back to the equipment supplier. Thank you all, this has been very useful.

The volume being small is very interesting. I am not a 75 lbs person, but closer to 200. I have a larger-than-average lung capacity, according to the breathing test I had a few decades ago. In fact, when we were first fitting the device, the small pillows were recommended, but I had to switch to medium just to get adequate flow rate from the device and not feeling like I was struggling for breath. I could try moving to large to see if that restores the functionality until I can get the device checked out.

Any other suggestions for ways I might debug this?

Thanks for all the great information so far, especially you, PR, as I had looked at the data, but didn't spot the mid-session decline. I feel like with this data I can go to the Dr. a little more confident that something is wrong other than "something seems off."

Perhaps checking these results against ResScan wouldn't hurt, but I wouldn't really expect any difference.

I can see if I still have the file and try doing it in resscan after dialysis.

Thanks, PR. Sorry, I was really directing my questions to MeWho. I thought it possible (but unlikely) there might be a difference in the results between versions of SleepyHead, like if the OP upgraded to the Beta version on the 18th. And, I didn't know if SleepyHead detected the For Her or not, thinking another possibility was a change in mode to For Her on the 18th, again not likely to have made that difference. Finally, to eliminate SleepyHead, I thought he might download ResScan and have a look at the results for comparison. If you could run them in ResScan, that would be great.

MeWho, I think it might be a good idea to download ResScan anyway, since that is the software that your doctor would use to analyze your results. Though SleepyHead and ResScan present essentially the same data, SleepyHead is not "official" and the format is a little different so some doctors tend to dismiss it. If you run the reports in ResScan, you'll be talking the doctor's language should you need to see one.

I only have one version the Sleepyhead, the version I downloaded a couple of days ago to start this investigation.(v1.0.0-beta-2). All the data is still on the SD card.

I'll give Rescan a try as well and see if it comes up with anything different.

I don't have the For Her model, just the regular one.

if you want me to run it through resscan, you'll need to upload the sd card again, I'd already deleted the data when I saw Jay's suggestion.

MeWho, did you have a chance to compare ResScan results to those of SleepyHead?
