You told me recently (in the other thread, after I cited politifact) that the site is biased and not reliable. IIRC, you even called it "fake news." Yet, you're linking to them here? (And the pertinent ending to that article reads: "We rate DeVos’ claim False.")
Gah, I need to take some Dramamine...

Some type of stress is causing a sleep problem, and the actual stressor will not change anytime soon.
I had a similar version of this when I had a manager who was breaking rules left and right, not happy with me for disagreeing, and it became a hostile work environment for about 2 years. I didn't sleep well. I woke up sick almost every work day (that she also worked), and I would start my shift feeling sick. It was physically wiping me out.
What kind of advice did I get? Transfer stores. really? I had worked there over 15 years. I could walk to work. I should change stores, start over with a whole new crew, AND have to pay to and waste time taking the bus to work? I am stubborn. I was there first. I have seen people come. And I have seen people go. I decided I would outlast her.
In the meantime, I needed a strategy to stop being sick, and to not go crazy. I decided to go with the concept of going to my happy place, only I took my happy place to work. My cats bring my joy, so I practiced at home, having my cat sit on my shoulder and memorizing that feeling. Pretty soon, at work, I could feel him sitting on my shoulder. And I felt better. I also took some photos with me that I could look at and relax. I also played happy music on my way to work. For example, Shania Twain's "Up" was a good one for me.
One day., I got a really good laugh as I realized that this is basically the concept in Harry Potter with the dementors. You fight them off by thinking of a really happy thought, and it pushes them away. My boss is a dementor! LOL.
Strangely, after about 2 years, we finally got along. She realized I didn't want her job, nor was I trying to get her fired. I just wanted her to follow the important rules that dealt with food safety and also to treat employees right. It got better, and years later, we both still work together, and we are good friends. Go figure.
Hopefully, this will help a bit. You can't change what is stressing you, but you can change how it affects you sleep. It could be a bad boss, financial problems, an illness like cancer, a pending divorce, or even a president that you don't like. The solution is basically the same. Focus on a way to push it away, quiet it, not focus on it ALL the time. You can't turn it completely off, but you can limit it. Take control over how you feel.
are you suggesting BB to hire Trump , take her happy cats to the white house, let him realize that she "does not want his job, nor trying to fire him, just wanting him to follow important rules" and in a year become good friends ???
That is a lot to ask.

ZCP and DreamStalker,
Thanks for your good suggestions (and for NOT telling me that my anxiety is self-induced).
I've been trying some things (like yoga and a weekly art class) to relax; they're helpful, but they haven't put an end to my sleep issues (yet, anyway). I've also done the gardening thing (nice to know I can grow my own organic super-fresh veggies) but not recently, as it's winter, and I'm at a high enough elevation that we get snow here).
Last time I grew tomatoes, I was dismayed to find that my plants were devoured overnight by big fat tomato worms:
I'll try again when spring arrives.

(Except that I'd
love to tell him, "YOU'RE FIRED!")
On a (more) serious note, I'm glad Dump doesn't have any (real) animals; I can't imagine the abuse they'd suffer. He and his cronies are pigs (and not the good kind), and they're abusing all of
us daily.

Wow...he's pretty impressive in a perverted sort of way. I have never seen anything like him in my little garden...just had some sort of weird little weevil looking bug that is easily killed off with 7 Dust because they would eat my potato and squash plants. Looked sort of like what I always called "stink bugs" though not sure if that was the correct term.
I have plans in the works to enlarge my garden area a little though. I do a straw bale garden for my tomatoes and the old straw bales go into an elevated sort of enclosure for potatoes and onions and squash. Been doing straw bales for 4 years now and the old straw has made some awesome dirt for potatoes and super easy to harvest the potatoes in the old straw.
It's time now to start getting the new straw bales prepared as it takes about 6 weeks...so this coming weekend I will be getting more bales.

There are organic ways to control tomato worms, but sometimes it makes sense to just say "to heck with organic"
and DUST those monsters. You can always wash a tomato.
Years ago, we had an entire cherry tomato plant stripped by little green worms, but we hesitated at pulling it.
Wouldn't ya know, that sucker releafed itself and produced a ton of sweet cherry tomatoes.

Last year my garden looked very inviting to those ugly pests. Every morning I would pick off and eradicate 4 or 5. I'm looking forward to my garden this year!

They are kind of impressive, although by the time I discovered them, they were huge (they had very full bellies, I guess). Had to hit Google to figure out what the hell they were.

Straw sounds like a great option for potatoes. It was a bit messy digging through the dirt to find mine, but it was a treasure hunt. Good luck this year!

Thanks, esel.
Not sure I'd welcome the wasps, though; we already have lots of flying menaces around here (just not the ones that eat tomato worms, apparently).
I'll just resolve to be more vigilant and watchful for the worms next time so I can get to eat some tomatoes, myself.

It's the same treasure hunt but I get to just stick my hands down in the straw or gently use a very small 3 prong hoe thingy to find them.
I actually got 2 plantings of potatoes done last year...so 2 crops of new potatoes. I was giving those suckers away. It's a good thing we like potatoes.
With the straw the weeding is minimal to none and what little there is to do is super easy with the loose straw. Much easier on the old back too.

Since I recently graduated from pre-diabetes to full blown diabetes, I've been aware of everything I've been eating. White potatoes are a no-no, although sweet potatoes are fine in moderation. Just a word of caution... and you are very welcome.

I haven't made that graduation to anything remotely like diabetes so I still eat whatever I want and at least don't have to worry about that aspect of my diet.
Thank God that with all the crap I have going on at least diabetes isn't on the plate. I do watch it though...secondary watching really because the blood work gets checked for other reasons and the blood sugar gets thrown in as a by product test.
