Have you tried to read a different SD card in your SD card reader? That would tell you for sure if it is the reader. If it is the reader, since you recently had work on the computer, it may just need a new driver for the SD card Reader.
If it is the reader, you could also buy an inexpensive USB SD card reader if you have a working USB slot.

Well, finally!
You are right, it was a defective card reader. I didn't know. The directory E: is not defective after all.
I was able to get Sleephead to work again.
Now I can loot at my data since I received my new machine 8 days ago.
Thanks for all the help from everyone.
Here is my latest data. How does it look so far?

Well glad that mystery is solved and relatively easy to fix.
Your data looks real good and boring.
Averaging 7 to 8 hours of sleep and AHI is nice and low and leaks are nice and low.
Looking good on paper anyway.
