I applaud your competitive spirit. If it works for you, then it's done it's job. I agree with others that Sleepyhead provides you more information, but just like other health issues, anything that helps you to SUcCEED is a good thing IMHO. Different strokes for different folks. BTW, I also have had many 99s due to the mask-off thing.

I will never get 100 points because I have 1 potty break every night. (Before the sleep apnea machine I had a potty break every 2 hours!) I just don't thinks it's fair to get docked for that. I turn off the machine and just unhook the hose, leaving the mask on. Laughed out loud when I saw the post about putting an extension cord on the machine to take it along to the bathroom! I strive for perfection too, but I wouldn't do that! Another thing, I always start my machine and let it run a couple of minutes before putting on the mask just in case there are any spiders in it. Not that there ever were, but to me it's a preventative thing. I'd hate to breathe in a spider, and they like to crawl into things!

Why take your mask off to go to the bathroom. Just shut your machine off unhook the hose and go, if you can't see the john sit down and do it no one will know.
None of my business, I suppose, but why even shut it off? If you’re worried that the blowing will disturb your partner, just stick the hose under your pillow.

I've hit 100 several times even with getting up to pee. You get two masks on / off

Cause I don't have a 500 ft hose.

Seriously tho, I am somewhat claustrophobic and the second I wake up the mask has to get off my face.

Maybe once a week but I don't really care if I reach 100% or not.

for the ones that do not understand, you can get up once at night and then get up in the morning and you get the max 5 points for mask off. if you're getting 99 and only got up once at night, the lower score is coming from another area.

Any time you turn the machine off, My Air counts it as a mask off.

Exactly, which is yet another reason for the anal among us (like me) to leave the machine on when getting up for a trip to the bathroom.

I probably hit 100 75 percent of the time. It irritates me that if I turn it off briefly during the night to go to the bathroom more than once it drops me to 99. If my AHI goes above 5.0 and/or I use the machine much less that 8 hours on a given night it al will lower my score.

Pretty routinely. It's not a unicorn like the 0.0 AHI.

So, if it irritates to see your score drop because you turn it off when going to the bathroom, don't turn it off; just tuck it under your pillow.

Seldom go below 100.
Prior to cpap, had to get up to use the bathroom 1 or 2 times a night for 50 plus years
From the first night on cpap, no longer need to get up.
Cpap is worth it just for that!!

Once in awhile, I forget to write down my data.
I wish it did not bother me, but I just have to accept my frailty.
Bad froggy! Compulsive = foolish.
