Of course, any such thing will prevent a heated hoe from functioning as a heated hose.

Decided to do the same! The original tube is a bit too much. Still using the HC150 plus my unit's humidifier. Glad it worked.JDS74 wrote:Just got the ResMed connector hose and it is a perfect fit for my setup.
Thanks BDZ and everyone else who posted.
People using the second humidifier inline (like the OP in this thread) have already given up the integrated heated hose available from ResMed or Respironics but nothing is stopping them from using a stand alone heated hose (like the Hybernite) at the mask end of the second humidifier.D.H. wrote:Of course, any such thing will prevent a heated hoe from functioning as a heated hose.
That Hybernight really produces heat too. I am one of the unusual ones who need both mega humidity and heat to appease my sinuses.Pugsy wrote:People using the second humidifier inline (like the OP in this thread) have already given up the integrated heated hose available from ResMed or Respironics but nothing is stopping them from using a stand alone heated hose (like the Hybernite) at the mask end of the second humidifier.D.H. wrote:Of course, any such thing will prevent a heated hoe from functioning as a heated hose.
So a heated hose doesn't have to be given up when using the second humidifier...a person just has to use a stand alone heated hose instead of the integrated heated hose plugged into the humidifier.
