Hi I am using this mask Simplus™ Full Face CPAP Mask with Headgear by Fisher & Paykel
dme charged 180 dollars to my insurance.
can I just replace the cushion part for the part that holds the cushion i think its called flap. that part is good.
Can I just remove the cushion and replace it?
I am due for a new set after I call dme to order it. but just if i wanna buy a cushion can i replace it on that flap thing.

I thinks its called a flap. just inquiring.

I used to use that mask. The cushion can be purchased separately. When I purchased a mask with my insurance, I always got one or two cushions at the same time. Some insurance companies allow a new mask every three months and a new cushion every month. Check with your insurance company and see what they allow. Also, compare what it will cost you out of pocket for the equipment and compare that with purchasing through our sponsor, cpap.com. Sometimes you can find masks and cushions on eBay. I have purchased masks there when I wanted to try something different, or just wanted to have a back up for emergencies.
