If the Goodman's were unhappy with grayghost offering a machine here or there on this forum then they would politely contact him privately and ask him to stop...they haven't done that...so guess what...I guess they are okay with it.
You don't get to speak for the Goodmans, or about them or interpret their rules for them.
They are quite capable of doing that themselves. It's not your job to decide how to interpret or implement Johnny's rules. Last time I saw a picture of him he looked like he was a big boy and quite capable of taking care of his business.
They know it happens...don't think for one minute that they are clueless as to what goes on here...they know.

They know that there are some people who can't buy through them at cpap.com for whatever reason and are just glad that there is an available option for those people so they can get cpap therapy.

So unless you have been recently hired by the Goodman's to police the forum (fat chance of that) you are wasting your time posting stuff like this. Repeated postings of the same old crap by the same old guest...qualifies as spam...so the more you spout this stuff the greater your chance of getting hit with the orange button.

First I like to think of it as a conversation but when you asked here I answered here. When you asked there I answered there.

all if the misdirection about "battery" isn't an issue, the OP never said anything about battery operation.

there are comfort and convenience benefits to having a similar, if not identical backup machine as the primary, as PEF can attest.

I just bought a used S8 AutoSet II without humidifer for $329 delivered (S9 autosense is listed at $379). This is the 4th time I've bought from them. I have friends overseas who are charged ridiculous prices so get these gently used refurbished units and bring over to them.

Re travel cpap - I travel with my S8. Had it for 5+ years and still going strong. My trips anywhere from 24 hours to 4 weeks, including abroad. It's a solid workhorse.

SecondwindCPAP is a fine supplier, but will be about twice as expensive for the S9 model referenced, and will require a prescription which the O.P. indicates is not available. I have also worked with Greyghost4 and will vouch for his honesty and diligence in providing quality machines at a price that is a service, not a business.

I did not require prescription for any of the purchases. As of this posting, Gently Used ResMed S9 AutoSet with EPR without Heated Humidifier is available for $379, with 1 yr warranty. (for travel, i prefer S8, as no brick power adaptor)

Any questions, email them directly. I even had them set up the apap pressure range and ERP for me before they shipped!
