Nope...you make PaleRider look like a saint. Everyone stopped talking about what a jackass he was once you entered the scene.
You win the top bully and most annoying forum member award hands down. Congratulations....that's a really worthwhile award to own.
Git 'em, Pugsy!!!

He's in the duke it out thread now. He's fair game now for me to call him whatever I want.
I don't feel real good so I don't know how much sparring I feel up to though and I can only bang my head so many times on that brick wall before I realize the headache just isn't worth it.
I seemed to have picked up some sort of upper respiratory/stomach bug courtesy of the doctor visit last week in his office where sick people were everywhere. Damn.

That's the problem with Dr. offices, too many sick people.
I don't see Dr x duking ot out here. He is too convinced of having the moral and intellectual high ground to fight on your turf. Sometimes you have to take it to them. But should I be wrong, which I often am, smack him around for me a few times. I grow tired of his vulgar name calling.

Wish I could send you some chicken soup through the internet. I have also picked up bugs from doctor's offices. The worst was when I was one week away from delivery and the ob/gyn I went to shared a waiting room with pediatrics, who were dealing with a German measles outbreak. Guess who got it?
Take it easy,. I hope you feel better soon.

"... after my post of course" ~~~ funny! I would do that {{bracket}} thing around your name but I accidentally had that conversation with a 14 year old who told me not to even ASK for an explanation of how BAD and GROSS!!!! that is?
I should have had kids.
My intent was positive Lucy vibe? for funny post? ... stupid technology making it more difficult to be understood.
Thank God for smiley faces. lol
Pugsy I hope you feel better. I know it will sound crazy but I am on day three of the exact same thing!
Terrifying hospitals.
omg I feel like a soldier each and every time I square my shoulders and walk through those doors ... and with reason ...
I found out late last night that a friend and survivor went in to the hospital the same day as me last week and got an infection and pneumonia and passed on Halloween.
I am devastated.
~~~walk through the landmines ... in places of healing?
How can we do better?
Grace, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Makes me think I should wear a surgical mask and disposable gloves the next time I enter a hospital. . .but then I would probably be stopped and questioned.
Thank you Bertha. It still really doesn't seem real to me.
I "lit" an internet candle.
~~~and *I* am sharing it here on the internet.
It makes my head hurt.
Was it preventable?
~~~death is so deep.
Based on what I have seen work very successfully in another forum, can I suggest that rather than "time out" or "duke it out" the space can be referred to as the "Bathroom Wall". The wording at the top of the post at that other forum was along the lines of the following:
"With any public place, one can expect that certain things that get said are out-of-place. But there is one place where almost any saying or scribble can find a home: the bathroom wall. This is where random thoughts and oddments that might otherwise derail a thread wind up. As with most bathroom walls, expect to sort through a lot of oyster guts before you locate any pearls of wisdom."
At that forum it was then very easy for someone not involved in the "discussion" to say "Can I suggest you take this discussion to the Bathroom Wall".
It was also very easy for someone involved in a "discussion" to respond "See my response on the Bathroom Wall". They could then copy and paste what they wanted across and move the discussion fairly easily. It also then tended to stay there.
I felt the concept did not suggest people were being scolded or necessarily being told their input was worthless. They were also not being censored. In fact in most cases people would take things voluntarily to the Bathroom Wall rather than being asked. It also avoided the connotations that one of the parties was right or wrong. It just moved discussion non-related to the thread elsewhere.
The other forum would often "apply a coat of paint" when the post became too big. Much easier than scrubbing with bleach.
If you repainted here, we would run out of room, the walls would be 4 ft thick from the layers of paint. Jim
WOW...another name to add to the list. It would only be condesending to you. Are you ashamed to use your
real registered name?
