My doc says within a year, and I think she said by end of year.

And Palerider, you are a rude POS. If all of the answers can be found via Google why even have a bulletin board? And then you claim your just advising how to self help, geez. I suppose we could have a bulletin board just so some lowlife can post 25,000 times without adding anything of value, just like the 6 or 7 posts on this thread that only took up space, must be working on 26,000 LOL.
I asked my barber,,he said it would be later than that. I have more confidence in my barber than your doctor.

Again, the patients will always be the very last to be told.
Even the DME's will not be told until they have emptied the manufacturer's warehouses.
Yes, they will get crapped on first. (Ever wonder why they are so rude?)
This autumn, myAirsense 10 will be 5 years old.
I will choose to wait until they "get the bugs out"--yes, the first models out are rarely perfect.
Let somebody else "enjoy" the beta version.

I've heard the 2015 models are better than the 2011's. They will be so quiet, you can't even hear them run, and the Auto models will generate their own power, and can recharge your laptop at the same time. Best of all it's due to be released in early 2020. Jim

It has to be right, I googled it!

Goofproof, your world sounds totally awesome.
Trouble is, I cannot quite find the portal.

I agree I would love this. I already have my Apple Watch and take my BP twice a day and it links right in and also my scale syncs to Apple Health. l also use the Alivecor mobile ekg for my afib and I am awaiting the release of Alivecor's Apple Watch band.

What's the point of monitoring AFIB? I have worn a Holter monitor several times since I was diagnosed. It always says I have almost constant AFIB, which I almost never notice.
If you have occasional episodes and you feel them, you should recognize them by now. What will you do differently when your Apple Watch tells you what you already know?
Monitoring your Apnea, blood pressure, weight, maybe even your O2 saturation, can provide you and your doctor with useful information. Once you have established that you have periodic AFIB events and you take your Warfarin or alternative medicines, what else can you do with the information?

I sure wish I had read this thread sooner. I would have waited for the A11 to come out at the end of 2016, or was the end of 2017. I am not sure. And I wouldn't have bought my Aircurve ASV 10 at the end of 2018.

Wow.

It's always the things you learn after you know it all, that really counts.

Given how much the AirMini is being discounted everywhere it wouldn't surprise me to see an update travel model from ResMed coming soon.

It's hard to make a Silk Purse, that does what you want, from a Sow's Ear, but somehow fools still expect it to happen. When making products there have to be trade offs, companies can write the ad's on how great their products are, but the facts remain, and the only people that lose are the people that believe everything in the ads. Jim

Why such nastiness to such a simple question . Google doesn't have everything and people here are often more in tuned than the sleep doctors. My S9 is 6 years old and I think the ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto has to be close to 5 years old. I don't want to get a machine that isn't much better than the S9 VAuto. I am concerned for better operations with spare batteries. I live in Florida and I don't want to try to live without a machine for a week in case there is a hurricane. Why do people have to be smug and nasty. For god sakes, ignore the question or get a life. Maybe you need more sleep.

Why such holier than thou attitude? why do people feel the need to get up and preach to others about their behavior? For god sakes, ignore the post or get a life. Maybe you need more sleep.

I think I can reliably predict when a new model will come out...
I've been thinking about getting a travel machine. If my life history of purchasing almost anything is any indicator, the new models will hit the market, and quite possibly at an attractive introductory discount, within 90 days after I buy a new machine.
Dang near guaranteed.
