I did NOT post an offensive joke. Some people are the PC police on steroids, so I removed it. I'm sure they like having power of censorship. The ONLY reason I took it down was because I appreciate all the help I have gotten on here and it wasn't worth causing a big stink over.

I'm still trying to figure out what was offensive about it ...honestly I just don't get what the ruckus is about. It was a harmless little pun/play on words with absolutely no malice that I could see. Cardsfan don't worry ... intention is what counts, and seriously I doubt you intended to offend anyone. Hey, not everyone shares the same sense of humour obviously but if someone would explain what exactly was offensive about the joke please feel free as we obviously don't "get it".

Thanks Arlene. There is a whole list of comedians who won't play college campuses anymore because of the PC craziness. Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Larry the Cable Guy-- I saw an interview with Seinfeld about how PC college kids are. I don't know how these kids are going to get by in the real world if everything offends them.

I missed it too and agree that PC craziness is not good for a free world. Even George Orwell did no envision just how PC the world is getting.

I think we are witnessing a mass human enslavement as wealth disparity tries to keep up with global population growth. Political correctness is just part of that enslavement, brainwashing the proles into keeping their thoughts to themselves.

That's is the most ridiculous PC censorship whining I have yet to see.

FOR TACO EMERGENCY
CALL 9- JUAN - JUAN.

You should not have removed it.
I was born into this world with the freedom of expression and I will die with that same right ... and everyone else should try to do the same IMO.

Here I have a silly joke too ....

FOR A POLITICALLY CORRECT FORUM OFFENSE
LOG OFF THEN PLUCK YOUR EYES OUT AND THROW'EM WHERE YOU WON'T FIND THEM

I was thinking along the lines of "shove them where the sun don't shine" myself.
or that was my PC version...shove them up your ass would be the uncensored version.

Cardsfan....I saw the original joke before all the hooplah. I thought it was corny and that was it. Didn't cross my mind that it needed to be censored for political correctness or that it warranted the bitching that went on afterwards.
I have seen much worse in print on this forum and the self appointed forum police didn't say a damn thing.
I just try to chalk it up to you can't please all the people all the time and some people you can't please any of the time and there's no sense in even trying.

Problem is, that everyone against PCness are the ones making jokes about the 'other' guys... and then saying they're too sensitive, blah blah... but when's the last time someone made a joke about them, their ethnicity, color, etc... when's the last time they felt what 'others' feel when the jokes are always on them? It wasn't the most terrible joke in the world, but it wasn't necessary either.

The only time I get upset on this forum is when Pugsy 'yells' at me. I just now reread this thread and realized that the original post was simply meant to be a joke, and only a joke. I sincerely apologize for jumping down your throat, Cardsfan... and you too, Pugsy.

Uh oh... the term 'snowflakes' insults politically correct white people. Will the madness ever stop?

I'm Hispanic and I wasn't offended.

In fact, several years ago before I went low carb I used to frequent a Mexican restaurante called "Juan in a Million" .... named by the owner himself who is also Hispanic.

And if you're offended get over yourself .... AND STOP CLICKING ON THE DAMN THREAD!

Geeeeeeeeez!

I'm sure you'll be offended by that too.

Absolutely!

My breakfast, when I have breakfast, often consists of half a package of bacon (or whole package when real hungry) with a side of guacamole and pico de gallo with some steamed veggie like broccoli, or spinach, or green beans, or asparagus, or a salad .... whatever I have that is green and low carb. Most would also add huevos rancheros but I generally don't like eggs (though I can pallet raw eggs mixed into a whey protein shake go figure).
