True we are supposed to just have one vote, if it was only that way, it's not! Also popular vote isn't how our system works, it should be, but it isn't. Then there is the factor all votes cast are not counted, this year it's probably the uncounted votes that will sway the election. Jim

That's only your opinion that trump said those words. There are no facts to support that video of him saying them.

I just read that the baby boomers are a disaster to our country. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... 1eb14101a5 I am so glad that the next generation is more intelligent and less spoiled than the baby boomers. I am not going to read anything more about politics except on this thread. That article just pissed me off. It is more boomer friendly here or at least I think so.

To me anyway, Donald Trump is just the embodiment of the millions of Americans, possibly as much as 80% of the US population, who are disenfranchised and extremely angry with the Washington/ Wall Street cartel. There are similar populist movements across Europe.

I read that George Soros thinks Trump will massively win the popular vote, but the oligarchs (like him) will give the presidency to Hillary via the electoral college.

I think that is a recipe for massive civil unrest. The electoral college needs to go.

That's a new angle on trumps 'rigging' conspiracy theory.

How did this mystery article suggest this would be accomplished? Is this different from the chain email claiming soros 'owns' the voting machines?

Maybe you could link to the article?

Thanks

EDIT: Found it. Looks like the basis for it was a manipulated video. What's up with you and believing edited/maniupulated videos? I thought you were in the search of 'truth'?

(lemme guess...even snopes is an arm of the DNC?)

I agree with you on becoming a more direct democracy. At the very least it would have kept GWB out of office.

It also means that the constitution isn't the word of god but instead a living framework that shouldn't be taken so literally hundreds of years after it was written.

Well, I'm a changed man. In search of the truth I've given up my daily front to back read of the Wall Street journal and am now exclusively reading 'alternative press'. I'm not liking what I'm hearing!!!

Yes, heard it all, but never quite as succinctly as this. Tell me how, how, how this man became a candidate for the POTUS!
