Couldn't resist looking in on the train wreck that this thread appears to have devolved into (honestly I've not read much of it at all). Some folks have been diligently working on eliminating the disparity of the electoral college vs. popular vote. I found the history of the whole process quite interesting. Just because we've been doing it one way since the 1880s doesn't mean it's the right way for today. And today if you live outside of the 12 key states that get all the attention (or more accurately if you live in one of the 38 states where no one from either party gives a damn how you vote anyway) you'll benefit by having your individual vote actually count for something.

No offense but that alone would not fix the problem. The way the primaries are done is flawed too and then there is the Mainstream Media which replaced unbiased journalism with blatant propaganda for the highest bidder. Then there is all the gerrymandering and Political Action Committees and corporate donations and the new pay-to-play foundations. The system is completely broken and those who play only fool themselves and encourage and endorse the broken system. Just way too much money and corruption to eliminate voting disparities.

I'm just glad to know that the majority of Americans disagree with trump and his policies. Old white dudes (his only majority group) are quickly dying off. As I've said before, I'm all for letting them enjoy their final sunset. They deserve it. They've had it tough and this final tantrum won't last long.
