Hi
I had a chat with the seller offline in email where he confirmed its an Autoset. Looks like the run hours can be accessed at About->Device->Run Hours. I will check these & the model # when I meet the seller tomorrow in person.
Thanks

From the craigslist ad you linked to.
It doesn't say AutoSet anywhere in the ad that I could see
What it says is AirSense 10 CPAP and the "cpap" part is likely the model name and it's a fixed pressure cpap machine with extremely limited data.
There are 4 AirSense 10 machines
the AirSense 10 CPAP which is fixed single pressure cpap with extremely limited data gathered
the AirSense 10 Elite which is a fixed single pressure cpap with full data gathered
the Airsense 10 Autoset which has both fixed and auto adjusting modes available...so cpap and apap
the AirSense 10 AutoSet for Here which is like the other AutoSet except it has a second apap mode available...so 3 modes of operation.
If it is the AirSense 10 CPAP model....that's the basic bare bones machine. If it was the AutoSet...would be a good price but I would want verification with pictures that showed real model name and run hours.
I get nervous with craigslist ads like this that really don't show or tell you much.

my standard advice:
meet in a public place, such as a coffee shop, where there are people around, for the protection of both parties, and there's usually a readily available outlet to plug the machine in and do some testing, check the hours, make sure it runs, etc.

Good job. Good deals are out there. People just have to be educated and careful when doing business with a craigslist seller.
It would have been a smoking hot deal without the new mask but with the mask it's even a better deal.

Just out of curiosity did they say why they were selling a brand new machine with 0 hours on it?
Fell off the back of a truck came to mind for some reason.....

Actually you got me curious and when I checked the ad it is still up there. So I contact him from a different ID and he replied back saying its still available with hose and mask.
So its up to our imagination where he is getting them from. I am already thinking may be I should get one more as a back up.

He probably has some sort of DME store business and selling off some to make a little extra money.
Either that or he found a whole truckload of them somewhere.
Might also be a DME employee selling a machine here and there courtesy of the 5 finger discount.
That is a really good deal with the mask and all. If I was in the market for that machine I would probably be interested.
Hey....just had a thought...can you send him an email and ask him if he has a ASV type of machine...either a PR S1 model 960 or the equivalent in the ResMed line which would be the S9 VPAP Adapt or the AirCurve 10 ASV.
I know someone in need of one.
Doesn't have to be brand new zero hour machine....used would be okay.

I shot a note over to see if he ships or takes paypal. I'm guessing cash is required but who knows.
