Wait a minute, what if you put someone on IGNORE = FOE list, but that member disregards it and continues to read your posts and even attacks you personally?
You fail in what's it's for, it's so YOU can IGNORE THEIR POSTS, something you could do on your own, it you had self control. Jim

Totally agree.

And what is ironic is this keeps happening on a forum that is supposed to be free from any censorship. But deleting posts is the ultimate in censoring forum members.

I also agree. I think it is very dangerous for folks to have superpowers online that we do not have in real life.

In real life, you can ignore. Apparently you can here as well?

...but you should not just keep words from other people.
It seems wrong to make choices for others.
Other people should have the same right to identify and ignore garbage.

It is the basis of discernment.
Which is needed today more than ever.

Particularly as it is all contained nicely in a thread.
At the very least all the removed posts should be kept in an addendum thread?
like porn? Something you have to be an adult to see or chose to ignore?

I ignore 99.99999% I think?

...and I still can't sort out what I am focusing on~~~
(hoping cpap will help with that )

I wish I were on my way to Ecuador ~~~
I am so overdue for a self chosen adventure.

When you are in Ecuador go take a tour of the Galapagos Islands. Also, bring home lots of cocoa beans.

What about those insects that lay an egg under the skin of your neck and then a worm larva develops inside? It could sure happen if you sleep on the ground in a tropical forest. What would you do? Regular Dermatologists don't know how to treat it. Here is a hint: fill the hole in the skin with tobacco. This will make the worm creep out.

Not a big deal really.

I usually just dig'em out with my trusty Laredo Bowie -- I keep mine nice and sharp just for that sort of detailed stuff.

Just not all that into that wacky tobacky stuff anymore. I suppose I just kept moving on.
