The shift came and went with relative ease. I was definitely dog tired by the time the shift ended but almost so tired I didn't feel sleepy ... if that makes sense.
I took a short nap Saturday afternoon which helped me get through the night. I ate decent and was definitely hydrated all night. Yesterday I slept for 3 hours once I got home. I tried to sleep longer but it just wasn't happening at 11am. Felt pretty crap all day long, dizzy, no energy, etc. Last night I went to bed at 9:15 which is earlier than normal and I slept through my alarm over an hour which means I was able to get 8.5 hours of sleep last night. That hasn't happened in years.
Still a bit dizzy still this morning but I definitely have a lot of energy. 1 overnight shift down, 2 more overnights to go.
