Yeah, but she said the women's machine he'd be getting is a Respironics Dreamstation. Respironics doesn't make a "for her" model, do they?
Uhhh, that post was strictly in response to someone making definitive statements in their post without any current basis in fact. Nothing more.
Okay, I just still think the person at their DME is a bit confused, because there's no Dreamstation for Her.

Right. I shouldn't have quoted Gasper.
Let me start over. The only point I'm trying to make is that Respironics doesn't make a "for her" machine. Only Resmed does, and that machine is white. The Respironics Dreamstation machines are also white, but that doesn't make it "for her." If a DME is telling you that, they're either very ignorant, or selling you a line of crap. Both are concerning.

I do apologize, in all the intervening back and forth, I either missed that comment from the OP, or had forgotten it
you're completely correct.

Thanks for adding the part I should have quoted originally. I've been replying from my phone, so more "advanced" quoting is difficult.

I had to purchase mine on my own. Many people I know that went thru their insurance paid alot more than I did for mine. I purchased that DeVilbiss Auto-Adjust Cpap with the humidifier & the Swift FX mask for about $650. The model I chose has a 5 yr warranty. All the other CPAPS I looked at only had 2yr. warranties.
