FF masks without support on the forehead! A real mystery !!!

My favorite mask is Resmed Mirage Quattro FF.
I bought a Airfit F10 and a Mirage Quattro FX FF.
Both masks without support forehead. I wear them faithfully respecting the instructions but it's not good! During sleep, both slide towards masks on until the base of the nose, and reach to touch my eyes with much hassle.
I doon't understand why this happens. My nose is not too big. My skin is not too oily.
I spent a lot of money for much hope of comfort but it is not working !!!
Does anyone know why this happens?
Thanks so much.

Not sure why it happens, but since it does, you might want to look at other styles (on Cpap.com where there's a large variety).

Yeah, maybe I should change.
I think of the hybrids because only nasal masks are not good for me.
For now, however, I must look for a solution for the two new masks I've just bought.
I can't send them in the back.
Not even I can throw them.
Thank you

Hang on to them. You never know what changes in the future, and you might develop a liking to them
I am hesitant to recommend the mask I use because I am personally biased. But, this mask fits firm on my face and has worked perfectly for me -

Quattro is my favorite but it's not perfect. I have some problems, marks on my nose and is too bulky! I imagine summer, how hot will feel with Four?

A couple ideas to look at.
F & P 431 has a section that rests under the chin. It can't slide up. I have used this one and at the time it was the only FF I could tolerate because the bottom of all the others would wind up in my mouth, like a bit in a horses mouth.
Amara View rests against the nostrils. It can't slide up.
Oracle is mouth only and never touches the nose.
I don't know if these will work for you but they will each address the problem you have.

Thanks wexler, I will study your ideas, they are very interesting.
Before doing this, I would understand if I can solve the problem with the 2 masks I've just bought.
Has anyone had the same problem of slipping?

Several users have reported having their mask slide up during the night. They made a strap, using either parts of old head gear or velcro, that will attach to one lower mask strap and go under the chin to the opposite strap.
I hope this may help. (and translate correctly)

Have you tried a liner? They helped to stablize my husband's F10. PadaCheek is nice. RemZzz's gives free samples. PM Becky at RemZzz stated that on this page.
viewtopic/p1057667/Especially-for-newly ... l#p1057667 and you can cut your own from old tee shirt material.

How is your hose management? There should be slack in the hose so that it does not pull on the mask.

When I was using the F&P Simplus, I used to run two pieces of tape trombone mask to down under my chin. This kept the mask from riding up on my face.

That's what I get for trying to use my tablet instead of my computer.

It sounds like your head size or shape may be preventing the headgear from resting low enough for the straps to pull the masks to your face at the proper angle, or, the headgear's size is just too small for you. A chin strap that runs between the two lower straps could be a good solution, if you can tolerate it. Good luck.
