Glad you're still around PR... at least you didn't lose your sense of humor, then I'd really start to worry.

I heard what was growing in my blood.. but don't remember it offhand, I'll have to download the reports and stuff.archangle wrote:Any clue as to a root cause? Is it just that some sort of germ attack? Did they figure out any particular germ?
indeed.archangle wrote:Sounds like you're lucky zit girl didn't pick up your CPAP and turn it over trying to figure out how to put the water in.
So sorry to hear about your brother in law.bwexler wrote:I am really glad you survived the hospital.
My brother in law, who I have been trying to care for, wasn't so lucky. After a week in the hospital being pumped full of antibiotics and who knows what else, even their non invasive ventilator couldn't keep him breathing. Talk about a monster PAP machine. He passed the day after thanksgiving. At least now he is at peace.
interestingly... (confoundedly?) given that I'm one of those people that "I judge every book by it's cover" people look at and say "diabetic, high blood pressure, yup, that's him", the near month that I was in the hospital, my blood pressure (which was actually LOW when I was in the ER and ICU (they were giving me a variety of things to get it up) partially because I didn't have much blood (severe dehydration)... I think I had two saline bags going in at once for a while... anyway, my digressions are growing digressions...Janknitz wrote:Good gravy! Glad you survived not just the illness, but the hospital! What is your blood sugar doing through all this?
yup, I got rejected... must have had trouble finding a suitable club.Gasper62 wrote:Glad that yer not ded yet ! ~~~ https://youtu.be/W4rR-OsTNCg
she wasn't a nurse, not even sure if she was a respiratory therapist... could have just been a wannabe... and wasn't cute... and I find stupid to be very unattractive in anybody... besides, I had enough competent, nice folks around.Sheriff Buford wrote:Glad you ain't ded yet. I woulda' have let the young nurse (in braces) stay a little longer, but heh.... that's me! Hope you have a better new year. Glad to see you!

well, you can't control the roving vampires ("they're on the floor!") the blood draws in the middle of the night are, of course, for doctors convenience so they can get in, get out, and get on the golf course at a good time for themStormynights wrote:Wishing you a speedy recovery. You never get any rest in the hospital. For some weird reason they have to draw blood during the night and take your vital signs and they can't do that at the same time. They have to spread it out so you can't get to sleep more than a few minutes at a time.
ems has made clear her feelings, and a few others with lesser disgust...Sheriff Buford wrote:See!!! All these nice responses! Only Postitnote wanted you dead!! Or er.... ded.
