Do you find it becomes moist in this area? You might find a liner helps to absorb moisture and provide comfort. PadaCheek makes them for Amara view.

You could also try cutting one yourself out of old tee shirt material.

You might try what we suggest for nasal pillow users...Lansinoh lanolin ointment/cream. You can use it at night with the mask and it won't hurt you or the mask to be used at night. Just a dab on the area that is sore.
I've been using the Amara view for about three weeks now, been on my machine just over a month. The mask is creating a sore spot on the tip of my nose. I first thought it was more bruising type pain than anything but this morning the tip of my nose as somewhat red with a speck of blood. I have been playing with the strap adjustment and actually it was less sore this morning but the first time I saw and redness and never any blood even though it was just a tiny speck. No cut and abrasions. Anyway, I saw your suggestion of the Lansinoh lanolin ointment and I think I'll try that if this issue with the tip of my nose continues. Hope this isn't a problem reply to an older topic. I search out my issue and this came up. Thanks for that suggestion.

I used Amara View since the beginning for about a year (?) time is a blur. What started bugging me was leaking air on my cheeks making noise and waking me and/or leaking air felt going into my eyes. I also had a sore nostril area periodically but that wasn't the main problem. Tried adjusting headgear repeatedly, following advice from folks here and YouTube videos.
Then someone on the forum sent me a different mask to try and I switched to AirTouch F20. It's over the bridge of the nose so doesn't touch nostrils. Doesn't leak air for me. It ended up being my keeper. It's not perfect, my main complaint being I can't put my glasses on to read or watch tv in bed. Everything is a trade off with CPAP, it seems to me. Maybe worth trying? Particularly if you're close to the 30 day trial period ending, you'll start a "new" 30 days and you can always go back to the Amara View.
Just a thought.
