Question: I relation to the head, where should the machine and hose be positioned? THANKS ALL; glad I found you.
While you are feeling like oxygen is an issue, have you got any data from an oximeter that might show O2 sat levels? If you can, check your blood pressure in both arms and note any differences with your doctor - my old school doc identified potential blockages from tingling by checking my blood pressure in both arms and comparing the pulse rate in my legs. Today with MRI's it is nearly black magic to do comparisons.

I was thinking about the peltier as well... it's cooling effect is modest, but it might help.

You might want to wear a pulse oximeter on your finger to get your SpO2 readings in the morning and whenever you awake at night.

I looked up Yankee Candle air fresheners and they are not scented with essential oils but "fragrance solutions". Research shows these air fresheners can aggravate asthma and even cause it in young children. I know I have a problem in homes where they plugged into the wall and my asthma is very mild not requiring regular medication.http://acaai.org/news/unplug-indoor-pol ... -fresh-air

If you run them at full power and have a decent fan for the hot side, you can ice over the cold side on a humid day

Last night I tried the Pur-Sleep CPAP desensitization kit which scents my mask air with an essential oil of peppermint and something else.

I'm not sure if it works for me, but If the scent makes the air seem fresher for you, this might be another way to go about it.
