Dakota......if we all had to spell and/or type well before posting to a forum, many of us would be left out in the cold!

I gave up on my CC about 2:00 am this morning. Got up and put the nose piece on my Swift headgear. Went back to bed and had a good seal when I went to sleep and when I woke up this morning. I'm not giving up on the CC. I will try again when I can make some more modifications. And it wasn't just the seal, but the cheek pads as well that are bothering me. [/b]

Dakota is a great name for anyone, including a dog!

When I first got my CC I didn't think it would be able to stay sealed at high pressures - from 12 to 16 on my APAP, but it seems to do just fine.

I think the trick is to really mess with it until all the adjustments are just right. Plus, when I first tried it I was putting the tip of my nose in the seal, and that just won't work. It should just cover your nares, and make sure you are using the right size - don't use a seal that is too small. If I don't get it just right it won't stay sealed, but once I hit that sweet spot, I can toss and turn all night and it's good, except for the whistling!!

I have been wearing a full face mask because A) I can't stand the pillows up my nose; B) the pillows make my upper lip sweat and that drives me crazy; and C) a nasal mask makes my upper lip sweat, too. The CC is off my lip and also, not on my nose. I really like it and wish it worked for more people.
