I finally did that but I had to use the computer clock and do a full 60 seconds because I couldn't find anything with a second hand. It's running 94ish and that's real high for me. Just feels weird if you know what I mean.
Not sure if it is related to the crappy night I had last night or some recent stressors which I thought I had sorted past.

Still haven't found the BP monitor. That's what I get for putting it back in its little case and putting it in a safe place. I thought for sure it was in the bathroom on a shelf in the linen closet but I have torn everything out of the linen closet and it's not there. Crap..now I have a mess to clean up.

I lose stuff all the time. Lost my purse once for a month...thought I had left it in a bar (back in my bar hopping days)....it was under my coat on a chair at home. Of course by then I had all new credit cards and drivers license and checks.
Important stuff I remember but I lose little crap things. People wonder how I remember all the individual details that I remember about each forum member...and all I can say is that it is a miracle.

I'm pretty sure my cat threw away my keys one time. By the time I realized that I must have put them on the cat tree (which was next to the trash can), the trash had already been picked up. Never did find them. I also managed to lose a credit card at home. Had it the night before. Knew it was missing before leaving the house. Never did find it.

I am known at work for remembering lots of plu codes. It is faster to ask me the code than to look it up. But knowing what I was working on before i stopped to help a customer? Where I put down my gloves? Not so good. I tell people that my hard drive works very well, but my RAM isn't so good.

I too prefer cooler air, so I either run with unheated water in the humidifier, or just dry air. I've tried putting ice in the humidifier, but it doesn't last very long before it all melts.

I've wondered for a while if there was some way to pass the blower air over an ultrasonic-type humidifier, which creates tiny water droplets by vibration, instead of heating. No THAT would be something that I would use.
