P10 headgear is closer to a polyester headband, knotted in the round to avoid seams.
It appears the F10 headgear is laminated fuzzy/loopy/foam, like most other headgear.
Hot water wash or hot dry may damage the laminate structure.
At least the micro-loopy part mates with Velcro.
Great solution!

That is a brilliant use of old shoulder pads!

I was going to suggest you pad it somehow but I have been cleaning and painting and between the paint fumes and the puffer and antihistames I was more then a little stoned and wordless.

That is awesome, Cathy! A little creativity is often useful, and with a few suggestions you found your own solution! I might add, I think even CPAP headgear looks a little dorky, but what the hey, as you say, we only wear it in bed, who's going to see it??

A little off subject, but I'll throw it out. I use a Comfort Gel nasal mask, it rides up on my head as the night goes on causing le a KS at the nose bridge and hurting the eyes.

Solution: I take the bottom strap and roll it up on it's self two to three times, this shortens the distance between the top and bottom straps, that keeps the the mask from riding up. The straps are flat so I didn't even have to sew them, just roll it up the same at night. Jim
