Is there a setting in the clinical menu or just lower my setting on the home page to zero. I want to try this because I seem to not cough as much with lower humidity. I have sarcoidosis in my lungs and have been playing with the humidity settings up & down trying to find a happy medium, so far I'm down to a 2 setting and was just wondering how to turn completely off....!
As an aside, if you don't intend to use the heat function on the heated hose, then put the heated hose in the drawer and use a regular hose. Heated hoses are more expensive and you may want to save the wear and tear in case you some day again desire a heated hose.
If I remember correctly the regular non heating hose will not fit on the S9 humidifier. Someone may be along shortly to say YA or NA...
Another Ney............. They include a non heated hose with the S9 package

ResMed boxes these things up in various configurations...some with the heated hose and some with the non heated slim line hose.
Then the equipment sellers buy the "package" per the product list that has the equipment they want in that "package".
Like they have packages without humidifier at all but with the hose of either kind.
Or packages with blower, humidifier and heated hose...or another package with blower, humidifier and non heated hose.
I used to have the product codes for the various S9 packages that showed the various configurations but I lost it.
Sort of like they do their mask packages...frame and headgear in one package for a complete setup or maybe frame in one package and headgear in a different package forcing multiple purchases to get a complete mask.
You got the product package that had the heated hose in it.
Someone else might get the product package that has the non heated hose in it.
I don't think there is a package for both hoses...it's either one or the other but sometimes the DME will throw in the "other" if asked and someone might think that both were included.

just another 'nay' vote, regular hoses fit perfectly fine. that's why there's space between the electrical connector and the tubing connector, room for a hose to fit in there.
