Well. I called and they aren't in for another half hour. Different week, we'll see if we're any closer to getting this done. You people don't understand. What if I'm only 6 weeks away? If I try to sign up with a new doctor, what if the whole process takes 12 weeks? I'm trying to demonstrate the importance of patience. What if I'm only 3 days away from receiving it? They have had the mask for a long time now, but something isn't right with what they need. I'm gonna try to squeeze out more answers in a half hour. What more am I supposed to do? Threaten to sue? With what money? Try doing a new doctor when that could take another 3 months?

This is bull. There is no plan b or c - cpap therapy is the answer for sleep apnea.

An adult takes charge of their life and does what's necessary to get things done.

When getting a new machine though the system wasn't working fast enough, I went on craigslist and bought my own damn machine to hold me over.

When one mask didn't work, I bought or borrowed others until I found one that did work. There are lots of masks on craigslist.

I didn't ask endless questions or play "what if" games or cry "woe is me!". I just got what the hell I needed and used it - every... single... night...

If you are a person who allows themselves to be jerked around, then guess what? You will be jerked around!

Do you wonder why it always happens to you? Because you let it.

You are wrong because I'm staying the course and not giving up. I'm on their asses and making sure that they remember me.

I'm gonna call them in 19 minutes. The question is what YOU would be doing differently. If you are going to criticize, you have to know what the best course of action would be. Have you been dealt a situation like this?

I called and got more answers. This is diligence. I'm trying to get further along this road and closer to my goal.

So as usual she answered and I asked what the status was and like last time she replied, ''That is a great question.''

She says 2 other people are having the same issue with the lab. Apparently, I was ordered a BiPAP machine, but the healthcare needs proof that I failed the CPAP. They have yet to provide that proof.

The Doctor's assistant says she has called the lab 4 times and they have not provided her with any answers other than they were working on getting the report to the healthcare. So she said she'd call me back once she had an answer.

So it's still not a clear answer, but now I'm getting more details and hopefully getting closer to what really is going on.

Shaking my head!

I've read this thread and others started by this person. Do you think your addition to this thread is helpful to the OP, or for that matter, helpful to anyone on this forum?

Seems there is always that one person in a crowd.

Oh? And what's your big, meaningful contribution, WWII ? Would you enjoy being apprised of all of his/her mundane telephone and clerical activities? Meals ? Maybe instagrams are in order ? Sounds really useful and stimulating ! This assclown (Enchanter) has monopolized the conversation here for far too long. He/she's alienated many of the members here by constantly ignoring the sound advice given to him/her. There's also been a complete refusal to use free equipment provided to him/her, creation of numerous inane/meandering threads and, most recently, decided that posting some vulgarity would be a good ploy to renew interest in their pathetic search for attention. What's your new and insightful take on the proper response to E's endless BS ? I'd love to hear it, and also, for you to shut your pie hole about my infrequent (yet brilliant) attempts at levity ! I personally believe that he/she is a troll playing a cruel joke on the membership here. Someone that seemingly navigates the intricacies of operating a multispeed bicycle, braves the intimidation factor of a fitness gym, operates a PC and accesses the internet simply can not be as helpless/clueless as this entity professes to be. Think about it..... (archived in case of any spurious spam button deletions )

Gasper 62, I understand your frustration and the frustration of others. I'm merely suggesting that if you (and others) stay away from this thread and others that the OP may start, the original poster will perhaps find the help he/she obviously needs. The OP can talk to him/her self for only so long. In the long run this tactic will benefit everyone. Archived my post also - thanks for the suggestion.

Doctors assistant says the best thing to do now is to call the healthcare. I am calling right now but have been waiting on the line for more than 50 minutes. We'll see if they pick up.
