If you are dieing something, you are cutting or stamping it with a die, which is a device used for cutting, forming, or engraving metals. It is a process used in machining, and your local town may even have a “tool and die shop,” which would make extensive use of the process.

BINGO! We cannot give complete answers on heavily moderated forums. Posters are forbidden from suggesting changes to settings, from posting links, from suggesting self treatment when an individual can't find knowledgeable professionals, steering people to money saving options for equipment and supplies, or linking to blogs with helpful info.

It is the "Wild West" here, but at least people can get real help instead of having to toe someone's party line. I started out on a heavily moderated forum and got almost no real help. If I had not found this one I would have been yet another CPAP failure.

I'm intelligent enough to blow away the chaff and keep the grain (figuratively speaking, since I don't eat grains ). I'll refrain from giving my opinion of the people who spend all their time arguing and complaining instead of using the helpful info and ignoring the chaff. . .

Now to find a diabetes forum like this!

You are right....I got tossed from the Apnea Board because I told a poster to raise their pressure and also made a comment about an administrator's comment.

Except I didn't mean there were 5 posts a day because it was well moderated. (I don't define well moderated as heavily censored btw). I moderate a large group on FB and am quite allergic to censorship. What I meant was just that it is a very small very slow group. It's easy to moderate such a group though-- you get over 500 members and that ability falls away.

I value the info I am getting here and feel I can ignore the stuff I don't particularly like.

As should posters that make lots of comments but contribute nothing.

With my comment, I expected some nastiness in return. LSAT you were baited . I'm so pleased to see only one person sought to respond. I expected more replies. Hats off to the group! Dan

People suggest pressure changes over there all the time without getting into trouble.

Yes, I really do appreciate this forum just the way it is. You really do need to take the good with the bad. The help I have received from this forum has been incredible. For example, I think if it were not for people like Pugsy and others, I simply would have been too overwhelmed and given up. So thanks to all of you.
