Ahh, NM, I'm probably wrong.

It's only the most staggering amount of coincidences in recorded history.

I think you guys are making this way to hard. ResMed (for one) puts the manuals on the web to be downloaded. Why not just do a google search like this one,
https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=s9 ... resmed.com ?

So if they are freely accessible, then the original post is OK? Or is it necessary to use a primary link?

I have no idea. I didn't raise the question of legality. But I can't see what would be wrong with publishing a web address that was found through a well crafted Google search. It's a URL, not the material itself. BTW, my S9 manual downloaded from the internet has no mention of copyright - though again, I know nothing of copyright laws.

I think part of the reason ResMed makes the clinician material a little difficult to obtain probably pertains to this:
ResMed wrote:CAUTION
In the US, Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.
Taken from the manual. But they are referring to the device, not the manual

And here's a little broader search that turns up a couple more: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=cl ... om&start=0 But, of course, we know from experience we can't ask newbies to do any kind of search

No, I think it's pretty obvious who called up Johnny and complained.

NBD.

I have infinite patience.

Besides, how many manuals do we really need? A dozen maybe? That would seem to cover 95% of requests.

Yeah, probably.

This last search turns up just about all that is needed from ResMed; S8,9,10,vpap, plus.

Or suffer the wrath of do righters, copyrighters, or some other kind of righters.

Well done Jay! I think that you found a way to get into a part of ResMed's server they don't intend for public access. It lies behind a log-in screen https://www.resmed.com/us/en/healthcare ... ccess.html

This content is restricted for the use of healthcare professionals and our commercial partners.

LOL.

Every so often, a manual link leaks out via various accidental means into somewhere Google will find it. They usually go away after a while.

As I have already done, and intend to in the future.
Get the manual BEFORE THE MACHINE!
If machine sales drop because the PATIENTS cannot get the manuals, well,
SO BE IT!

I should get this one but the number of asterisks doesn't line up...

adding inurl:pdf to the search narrows it down a bit more

That's a good idea. Try this (copy and paste into Google search box):

allinurl: clinical guide site:resmed.com filetype:pdf

(no posting of url required)

I tell ya, if somebody can't find a clinical manual, they shouldn't be playin' around with the machine.
