Thanks guys.
No strawberry picking for me today but I have a lead on buying some already picked....just a little bit of a drive.
I can handle driving once I can get in the truck but no way will my knees let me do the walking and stooping and bending and getting up needed to pick berries. I am doing good to get up and down a couple of steps.
Damn aliens.
Oh...and damn cats...Ruthie brought be a baby bird that I guess fell out of the nest so I am hand feeding it. It is almost ready to fly so hopefully I won't be hand feeding long. Almost feathered out and can fly about 2 feet high for about 3 feet and that's it. Another week and it should be able to go on it's own.
