Someone with almost 30k more posts and on the forum 7 years compared with someone with less than 200 posts who has been here 2 months and is a new CPAP user himself and posts controversial material, polls etc.

Watch out for this 'palerider'. He is one of the worst. Believe me. Stick around and look at his posts. He is always attacking someone personally. And I never seem to attack first. Franck, notice when the attacks occurred in this very thread right here. That is the pattern. I never said anything foul or negative to you about any of these creeps. Look who started things here. That is the pattern, the modus operandi for these misfits. They have nothing better to do.

My Dad had a very good saying for people like ted....... "Experts are those that have lots of first hand practical knowledge.. but... those that have little knowledge can still "think" that they are experts and are NOT.. Or to put it better "small brain, big ego"

I do tend to point out when people do apparently stupid things, many people say "oh, that was stupid, I've learned something and improved myself" Ted, on the other hand, when people point out something stupid he did, he tells them to "Die already, would you please?" and, many here have pointed out stupid things he's said... and universally, the reaction is venomous, never a "well, you might be right, I'm new, I should learn"

I am a newbie, starting late November.
I read the forum threads frequently and I know that Palerider, Krelvin, and Pugsy are three of many great experts on this forum who generously volunteer their time and I do read everything they have to say because I do want to learn.

Ted, for some reason you seem to be trying to drive a wedge between people and your posts are far too negative to read.

All these posts are off-topic. I swear that you would rather mess up a thread with a newbie than try to give him helpful advice.

NONE of you in this area, including Pugsy, would qualify as an expert in a court of law. Just remember that.

And I have thanked her and many others here for their input and guidance. But we are on an equal footing unless some of you are licensed to
practice in the respective areas. I'd listen more to such a person than some individual who has as the only scientific evidence their own experience posting on a forum.
That is only anecdotal but it is indeed revelatory and helpful, but not expert, not from any of you.

I feel your pain OP. I am prescribed a fixed pressure of 19/4 because of excessive nocturnal hypoventilation. My sleep quality has been awful all week. I accidentally passed out last night without putting my mask on and I slept for 11 straight hours.
