Thank you Chunky. We call each other Sweetie. The other day I went in the kitchen and washed my hands and when I turned the water off I notice the cutest little fat frog sitting on the faucet and It made me think of you. My Sweetie took it outside. I think you must be sending out spies to check on us.

Not a spy; just a messenger of hope.

He brightened our day. It is strange that a cute little frog would give you warm fuzzy feelings and make you smile. Then I saw on TV that people had snakes in their toilet stools. That wouldn't make me smile.

CF, tonight was the first time I saw your story. (Most of my computer time is spent studying diet for type 2 diabetes.) I'm so sorry you had to go through this, but your sense of humor through it all really gained my admiration. I had breast cancer two years ago and endometrial cancer seven years ago. I'd always wanted a boob reduction and finally got a free one. Thanks for sharing your story.

chunkyfrog,
Like gasparama, I too spent several months off this forum and just saw your story. You're one of the very best. Please know how many of us believe that and want every good thing for you -- now and always. xo

Yesterday, I finally got my tattoos. {{on my areolas}}
---The final procedure in evicting my breast cancer.
If tattoo parlors used a local, like the doc, more of us would have ink--I guarantee!
(Spell correct tried to make me say parole instead of parlor)

Congrats on your tats, CF I have been seeing some really pretty ones that some women are getting and having photographed for magazines- quite amazing!

I'm with you- I'd sign up for it, if they gave me a local or just knocked me out altogether

Stay well (whether on parole or in the parlor)

I mentioned mandalas to the doc, and then had to explain to him what a mandala was.
So all I got was the plain tint to match the card I matched to my old ones last April.
Just hubby and I will see mine, but it's nice to know what I see stepping out of the shower looks OK.

I understand your relief - it is a great feeling just to know all is OK again.

I had the same fear when I had my surgery, and fortunately my doc did a great job too.

Happy for you that reached this great milestone~ Be well

Haven't been on the forum since last Fall except to comment on a mask. Got diagnosed with breast cancer in November, had double mastectomy in December, and chemo Feb- April. Couldn't tolerate my Cpap mask or air pillow when on chemo but found Sleepweaver Elan. It blows up like a hot air balloon on your nose and was great when my skin was sore from chemo.
Glad to see you are doing well. I am now too, just having some side effects from antihormal meds. Glad to be alive
Hugs!
Suz

You are so right about the Elan. It is so soft.
So sad you had to go through so much.
Also glad to hear things are looking up for you.

This will give you all a chuckle:
Having never had a tattoo before, it never occurred to me that a healing tat could be so ITCHY!

Enjoy!
