If we want steak, we usually buy raw, and grill.
Never been to HA.

I filed a formal complaint about that and the absence of a phone in my room,
which led to the dietetic clusterfrank.
Apparently my status as inpatient or outpatient is still up in the air,
but even Medicare should not have to pay for eye drops which were never delivered.
According to the statement, MSRP for my hospital stay was over $67,000,
but Medicare only allows a bit over $6,600; so I guess they are a bit butt-hurt over that. (crocodile)
Might be a reason for the "lost" phone and the bogus eye drop charge.
Back on topic, this is where I am now.
Wish me luck!
Oh, and the drainage in my JP drains is getting very low. Maybe I can get them out tomorrow!
I cannot be more hopeful!
Another edit--at my urging, the pharmacy charge was audited, and the bogus eye drop charge has been removed.

Shameless self-bump here, but I'm going in for fine tuning "revision" on my reconstruction Monday 7/6/15. Last procedure.
There is some puckering at the ends of the "zippers", and a pair of yucky blobs below my arms.
Those go, and the surgeon will create my nips. I get to specify size, shape, etc.
Maybe like Jennifer Aniston's? She poked through bulky sweaters, for cripe's sake!
--Or was that special effects?

I think mature nipples should be somewhat substantial. By that I mean more than just little bumps.
Oh, I think it's OK if they "hint" of their existence through your clothes.
You may want to try on some swim suit tops and stuff the area with some wadded up tissue to get an idea of what seem acceptable.
Gee Whiz, this reminds me of early high school...

I love ya, frog. You're not some tacky brawd, schlepping around, causing trouble. Truly a class act, with a few quirks. It's great to see someone who is going through a tough time FIGHT LIKE A GIRL AND WIN. And I'm honored to have been on the sidelines to cheer you on, in my dysfunctional way. hug*

Thanks, (blush). To be honest, I feel a bit guilty to be given such status,
given that I was so very fortunate to have caught mine extremely early, in Stage 0;
When so many others are forced to endure drugs, chemo, radiation, and all the difficulty that comes with it.
Those are the real heroes, IMHO. Most of the emphasis in cancer research/fund raising is directed to a "cure",
while early detection or reliable, doable prevention seems to be completely forgotten.
Comprehensive BSE is rarely taught, nay even discouraged, in favor of the big money route.
(Somebody please find me a ladder; this soapbox didn't look so high when I hopped up here.)

Enjoy your well earned status. By opening up and sharing your experience with us you are teaching and reinforcing the value of early detection and letting us know there is hope out there. Wishing you the best!
