I forgot to mention in my above post that I have a problem undergoing CT Scans on my pelvis and abdomen for checking the progress of treatment of my bladder cancer b/c I have a hip joint replacement. The artificial metal joint scatters the CT image and makes it useless. In my case it should be a PET SCAN (Positron-Emission Tomography) for assessment of the treatment.

Sounds like you'd be like fireworks in an MRI!

Chunky, I think that the following is my most important suggestion to you. During your treatments you'll be seen by dozens of oncologists. Most of them will ask you to undergo a CT Scan of your chest plus other organs. They will say that's a month or two are gone and it's time to take another new CT Scan. IMO, you should reply to them and ask what's wrong with a regular Chest X-Rays. This is b/c the X rays exposure during a CT Scan is a hundred times more intense than in an ordinary chest X-Rays. Most oncologist physicians don't actually care about the damage done to your body. Their main concerns are not to be sued and be paid promptly by Medicare.
