Oh, no, I'm so sorry - good luck with the therapy.

Sorry to hear this, CF, but happy that you've caught it so early. My uterine cancer was also caught early, thankfully. Rest assured that all will be well, and hang in there.

Thinking of you...

Dangnabit all, I'm so sorry

I'm just barely around here long enough to "know" ya, but I've read this thread, and I'm just so sorry.

Oh geez, what a shock. Not what you deserve. Hoping for smooth sailing as you adapt to all this.

Just a note about tata removal. I had both off recently and only needed a plain tylenol the following day for mild discomfort....nothing after that. Chemo was also not like it was in the old days....lots of drugs for side effects. The worst part is adapting to the loss and the shock of it all. The word "cancer" is scary as shit but you are in good hands in the US.

I think your 'subject' heading says it all... but the got-it-so-early is so lucky (hard to find an appropriate word there!). Just know we'll all be here crossing our hundred fingers that it goes easy and fast... like your tongue.

Thank you, all you guys.
The ta-ta was never used for feeding babies or sinful dancing--just keeping my shirt off my tummy.
I don't expect to miss it much. It will be interesting to see what an artist this surgeon is in the bondo department.

So sorry CF that your results came back with that diagnosis. My wife had her mammogram a few weeks ago and came home whining about the discomfort and inconvenience... I think I'll show her this thread to help her appreciate her good test results

Schwag? Under any other circumstances, I'd JUMP on it.
Oh, what the heck! I'm curious, if nothing else.
Thanks, but don't go nutz, please.

Been following this thread even though I hadn't jumped in. Every year when I'm due for my mammogram they end up calling me back for a sonogram, and in my head I go through all the "what if" scenarios. My first thought was to have the docs use my belly fat for reconstruction. Then I saw some amazing tattoos for mastectomy sites. Any of us could face this at any time. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. May you have the best of care and the very best of treatment results.

I was just reading about the 3D nipple tats. AWESOME! And Medicare might cover it. Cool.

I hope this is just a sick April Fools prank.

The people at the doctors office must feel strange giving out such news on April 1.

Best wishes. No Fooling.
