Thanks for that info. I guess my assumptions were wrong (but then, I don't hold a very high opinion of most DMEs, so I'm definitely biased ). Still, I'm glad to download Dad's data, myself, and provide it to his GP (for insurance purposes) if she ever asks for it.

I tried the Pilairo Q on Dad this morning (not hooked up to the machine yet), and it looks like it might work nicely. We'll see, of course, when it's under pressure. Of the other pillows he sent along (the pillows part only of the Swift FX, the P10, the Nuance Pro, and a pair of Breeze pillows in size Large), I held them up to Dad's nose to see how they might fit, and I think the Nuance Pro is the next-best option. The pillows on that mask have a gel edge (near the wide part of the pillows), and it looks like that might seal really well on Dad.
So for now, we use the Pilairo and see how well that goes. If we need to exchange masks, I'll try the Nuance next. Hopefully, the Breeze XL pillows can work on another base (when I get them, that is), so Dad will have another viable mask he can use.
*** While Dad was up this morning, I attached the Pilairo (with the single-strap headgear) to the hose and refilled his humidifier. He's not feeling great so far today (mornings are typically not good for him), and he went to lay down again after breakfast. To my delight, when I went in to check on him, he was already wearing the Pilairo, and the machine was on. So that bodes well. I'll check the leak numbers later and see if he needs to use the adjustable headgear, instead.
Progress!
