Mylar tent?
Grounded bronze mesh would be better since you need to air inside the tent.

One question related to this módem thing. How can you make the módem of an Aircurve work and transmit data vía WiFi in a country Different from the US? For example, Spain.
Thanks a lot in advance.
You can't, it doesn't do wifi, no way, no how, cellular only.

That machine is not available here and I bought it online from a supplier in the US that doesnt know about that either. Suggestions anybody?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
If the machine isn't available there, then wouldn't it follow, logically, that the infrastructure, and agreements with cellular companies to carry the data aren't going to be there either???

FYI: Early versions the CAM cable is connected different, easy to tell how it plugs in.
I don't know if it was ever an option in the US but the service manual shows that the Air10 could be purchased without communications. (you don't see an antenna on the SN label).
I learnt this the hard way because somebody turned off communications when they wanted it on, but if your DME has the service program it can be flipped off.

Of the 4 white wires to the modem, which would you put a switch on? Seems like you could add one by drilling a hole somewhere on the Capa case and put in a shut off switch...

I’ve been meaning to ask after performing the tutorial that Sleep87 posted here, thanks so much for doing so. But what let’s my S10 maintain proper date and time since having d/c’d the antenna? I could see if there was a button battery like pc’s have for the cmos, but one was not seen on the board when unplugging the wires. Reason for bringing up is I have a second S10 that I take on out of town work trips and it doesn’t get powered up for weeks on end sometimes. If it’s a capacitor keeping something energized inside, you’d think it would have discharged after being unplugged for so long. Just curious and wondered how it was possible.

Hi there. I had a real surprise when I went to my sleep doc. I have a newer machine airsense 10- I have always had it on airplane mode since purchase. I also followed the info by the OP and disconnected it. I'm a mechanic by trade. so no need to question my skills haha. How is it possible that when I went to the sleep doc- they had all of my sleep data? I asked if they wanted my SD card and they said they didn't need it and had all that they needed. WTHECK? Disconnected modem and airplane mode and still had my data. How is that possible?

When they said they had your data, were they talking about Compliance or AHI? In airplane mode, they should not have gotten anything via cellular. Did you pursue it and ask how they got it?

That's what I thought too. They had both compliance and my ahi's. I did not go through insurance. I paid out of pocket. I did not question it because my head was spinning. All I want to know is how to turn the thing off. I paid out of pocket and am using the machine regularly. I have had great results.

The original post is 3.5 years old. Maybe ResMed read it and added an extra circuit to later production that keeps the modem running?

Yeah, that thought went through my mind as well. I just don't see the humor though. I paid for this out of pocket and it's really no one's business but mine. I'm fine with taking my SD card into the doc. The point is, they don't need it. Deceptive as hell. All that my manual says is to turn airplane mode on. Bull.
